Marble is a stone admired, loved and used for millennia: splendid, elegant and timeless, it is closely linked to evolution
of human civilizations. In fact, cultures from almost all over the world have a concrete relationship with marble, which is evidenced by legacies
traceable in some of the most beautiful monuments in the world.
How was marble created?
Marble is formed through a metamorphic process from sedimentary rocks, such as limestone or dolomite, which causes a complete recrystallization of the calcium carbonate of which they are mainly composed and gives rise to a mosaic of calcite or dolomite (mineral) crystals.
